Invest In The Future – Support Bear Catholic
“The future starts today, not tomorrow.” – Blessed Pope John Paul II
The Bear Catholic Campus Ministry is made possible through the generous financial gifts of parishioners of St. Peter parish, parents, alumni and friends. We rely upon the generosity of others who have a passion for Campus Ministry to sustain the excellence of the Ministry at UNC and Aims. Please prayerfully consider partnering with Bear Catholic and help us minister to the future leaders of the Church and society. Together we will reach all Catholic students at UNC and Aims with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Your support of Bear Catholic ministry fosters an atmosphere of missionary culture at the University of Northern Colorado and Aims Community College, in Greeley, CO. Our ministry invites college students into a relationship with Jesus Christ by specifically inviting them to participate in the Catholic Church and live out the Sacraments as established by Christ Himself. It is then our goal to train and equip college students to invite others to pursue this same goal, and to develop into adults who are actively involved in their parishes, helping to revitalize the Catholic Community in the United States. Bear Catholic students are entering into mission while they are in college, with 30+ active students entering into mission work in 2015. and graduates are entering into mission as leaders at their parishes, as well as dozens of alumni who work in ministry fields for their Full-Time Careers.
Thank you for your continued support. Ad majorem Dei gloriam.
Bear Catholic Society
One of the most significant ways you can support Bear Catholic is to join the Bear Catholic Society. An electronic monthly donation drafted directly from your checking or credit card reduces fundraising overhead, helps with on-going operational expenses, makes donating simple through automation, allows you to budget a donation over time and provides a stable donation base.
Supporting Catholic Campus Ministry through the Bear Catholic Society is easy because you don’t have to remember to mail a check in an envelope every month. It’s helpful because you can set your budget and keep your bookkeeping simple. It’s rewarding because not only are you helping to keep this great ministry growing, you will also receive the Living Faith Devotional four times a year. This popular devotional provides a different scripture verse and short meditation for each day.
You can increase, decrease, hold or discontinue your contribution at any time simply by calling St. Peter’s.
Parents are the first prayer warriors, protectors and teachers of their children. This parent society has been named “Sanctus Patronus” (Saint Protectors). We strive to provide many opportunities for the students to grow closer to Christ and grow in their Catholic faith during their years at UNC and Aims. For $42.00 per month or more, your support of this program helps us maintain and continue with the variety of ministries offered to the students. Your child as well as all the students involved directly benefit from your generosity by allowing us to keep activities costs to a minimum.
All parents who participate at this level of monthly giving or $500 per year will receive a book of saints to help in their own personal journey to sainthood.
