Serve Others

Love cannot remain by itself — it has no meaning. Love has to be put into action, and that action is service

-Mother Teresa

Throughout the school year Bear Catholic does many service activities; here are a few:

Serving the homeless: Twice a month, Bear Catholic serves dinner to the homeless in Greeley at the only homeless shelter in the city, The Guadalupe Shelter, run by Catholic Charities. If you are interested in this program contact Seth at info@bearcatholic.com.

Habitat for Humanity: Bear Catholic has volunteer groups work different projects for Habitat for Humanity. Volunteering for Habitat for Humanity is an awesome way to meet others in the community and to serve those less fortunate than you. If you are interested in this program contact Seth at info@bearcatholic.com.

Religious Education: Starting in the fall we will be looking for volunteers who would like to serve young children by teaching religious education classes. If you are interested contact Matt at dre@StPeterGreeley.org.

Youth Ministry/Confirmation: Also in the fall, we will be looking for volunteers to serve the teens in the St. Peter’s community through teaching and leading small groups in youth group and confirmation. If you are interested, contact David at Youth@stpetergreeley.org.

Campus Center Clean-Up: The campus center is always in need of some volunteers to help keep it clean. This is an awesome way to serve your peers. If you are interested contact Seth at info@bearcatholic.com

Spring Break Mission Trip: Every spring break there are opportunities for regional, national and international mission trips . The exact locations for Spring and Summer 2016 mission trips are yet to be determined. If you are interested contact Seth at info@bearcatholic.com or go to focusmissions.org. Bear Catholic will also be going on a staff led domestic mission trip during this Spring. If you have interest in this, email seth@bearcatholic.com
