Full-Time Campus Minister

970-939-5715 | robert.delfin@bearcatholic.com
Robert graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in May 2015 with a degree in Urban and Regional Planning. After college, he felt the call to be a campus missionary with FOCUS, serving for three years at the University of Miami and team director at Florida Atlantic University. He then traded the sunny beaches of Florida for the flat lands of Wisconsin to become the Campus Minister at UW-Milwaukee for two years before joining the Bear Catholic team in July 2020.
Hailing from the Chicago suburbs, Robert enjoys a good deep-dish pizza and reminiscing on the 2016 World Champion Chicago Cubs. Robert married his beach-loving Floridian best friend Teresa in May 2020 and welcomed into the world their first child in February.

Jonathan Cardinal

FOCUS Team Director

832-221-5751 | jonathan.cardinal@focus.org

Jonathan is husband to Kathleen and father of four of the wildest and holiest kids you’ll ever meet. He also serves as Team Director for FOCUS here at UNC. The Cardinal’s love being a family on mission. Our days are filled running around with our four kids on campus, encountering students in the midst of their daily lives, and welcoming them into our home where we are able to share Christ’s love and invite them to experience the beauty (and craziness) of family life! If you want to come over for dinner, hold a baby, go on a hike, or chat over a round of frisbee golf on campus, call or text Jonathan!
